Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects.
- The ideal candidate will oversee cost estimation, budget control, procurement, and contract administration to ensure project delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets.
- Oversee project finances including valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost tracking.
- Conduct feasibility studies, value engineering, and risk analysis.
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract agreements.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contract terms.
- Monitor project progress and manage variations and cost control.
- Provide support on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for cost efficiency.
- Deliver financial reports and updates to management and clients.

Requirements
- B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Professional membership with NIQS, RICS, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar construction-related role.
- Solid understanding of standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.).
- Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and QS software such as CostX or WinQS.
- High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
