About Shoreline Natural Resources

Shoreline Natural Resources was incorporated on 10th December 2010. The company is a joint venture between Shoreline Power Company Limited, a Nigerian Company which has extensive interests in the power sector together with a strong network of relationships and Heritage Oil Shoreline Natural Resources (Nigeria) B.V, a subsidiary of Heritage Oil Limited, which has a strong technical expertise and operations in the upstream sector in Tanzania, Papua, Russia, and New Guinea. Shoreline Natural Resources leveraged on the divestment plans of the Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited to sell its participating interests in some assets located in Nigeria. On 4th November 2012, Shoreline Natural Resources acquired 45% Participating Interest of SPDC in Oil Mining Lease 30 (OML).


About the Job

  • We are seeking an experienced Security Coordinator to oversee and enhance OML30’s security architecture.
  • The role will involve assessing current security operations, coordinating with the Operator and NEPL security teams, and ensuring effective collaboration among multiple security layers.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, preferably as retired personnel from a security agency, and the ability to build strategic relationships with key security stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and recommend improvements to the security framework for OML30 operations.
  • Coordinate security efforts between the Operator, NEPL security teams, and JV partners.
  • Provide expert advice on managing security risks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with security agencies for enhanced cooperation.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on security incidents, trends, and mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in security governance meetings and provide strategic input on security initiatives.
  • Support crisis management efforts and emergency response planning.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Extensive experience in security management, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyze security threats and provide practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retired personnel from a reputable security agency (military, police, or intelligence services preferred).
