Premier Feed Mills Company Limited, a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc., is the leading Animal Feed Brand in Nigeria and largest producer of Aqua Feed in Sub-Sahara Africa. We operate a fully automated feed factory with a 300,000 ton per year animal feed mill in Ibadan, Oyo State while our Eastern Premier Feed Mills (EPFM) in Calabar has a total installed capacity of 370,000 metric tons per annum with a capability to produce and bag three different types of feeds simultaneously.Our purchase of local maize provides employment for over 150,000 Nigerian farmers and it also has the flexibility to meet the demand for all animal feed rations. Not only does the Aqua Feed replace imports, but it also results in export opportunities to other parts of the West Africa region and provide valuable SME employment to the Nigerian fish farms that will be providing protein to the nation.
Job Purpose
- To ensure the uninterrupted availability of high-quality production materials (both micro and macro ingredients) by efficiently managing the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to vendor engagement, purchase order issuance, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the process of Purchase Requisition Notes by following up the approval channels towards timely closure of materials requested.
- Prepare and submit weekly status reports of Purchase Requisition Notes to ensure bottlenecks are reduced to the barest minimum and escalate delays to line manager for quick resolution.
- Coordinate the issuance of LPOs to vendors, monitor the timely delivery of material and follow-up the process for prompt payment of invoices.
- Provide support for direct sourcing contacts and execute buying without middlemen.
- Assist in the movement of grains in different locations and develop market intelligence information with information trend for management.

Requirements And Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in social sciences/management disciplines.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG or feed industry.
The Person Must:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Be highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Be knowledgeable in inventory control and supply chain processes.
