About the Role
We are seeking experienced Bancassurance Officers to join our team across multiple states. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving insurance sales through strong partnerships with bank branches, developing customer relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of insurance products and services.
Key Responsibilities

Cross-sell insurance products to bank customers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Bank Branch Managers, officers, and staff.

Develop and execute sales channel plans, including forecasting and productivity targets.

Drive lead generation through walk-ins, referrals, data mining, and other initiatives.

Support smooth customer onboarding and ensure service delivery within agreed timelines.

Manage and monitor life and general insurance sales within assigned territory.

Conduct sales presentations and lead negotiations with prospective clients.

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Underwriting teams for pre-sales support.

Act as the primary support for assigned branches regarding insurance-related queries.

Prepare and present accurate sales and performance reports.

Support the execution of effective Bancassurance training initiatives for bank staff.
Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance sales or related roles.
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of the Bancassurance partnership distribution channel.

In-depth understanding of Nigeria’s financial services and insurance market.

Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong networking and relationship management abilities.

Team player with the ability to multitask effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Results-oriented with a performance-driven mindset.
