Job Summary

  • An Event Center Manager oversees daily venue operations and event logistics, including staff management, client coordination, vendor relations, budget control, and venue maintenance.
  • Responsibilities include planning and executing events, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining safety standards, and implementing policies to ensure smooth operations and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, budget, and preferences for events.
  • Develop event plans, concepts, and schedules to ensure success.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth experience for clients and attendees.

Staff & Vendor Management:

  • Manage, schedule, and supervise event staff (e.g., servers, cleaning crews, security).
  • Liaise, negotiate with, and manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contracts and standards.

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure the venue and its facilities are well-maintained and meet health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control operational costs, manage the event budget, and handle invoicing.
  • Implement and update operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

Client Relations & Communication:

  • Provide advice on event elements, such as menus, decor, and entertainment.
  • Address and resolve issues that arise during events or in venue operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Post-Event Activities:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback and prepare reports for senior management.

Requisite Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field like Hospitality, Business, or Communications, along with 5 – 8 years of experience in event or hospitality management. Minimum of second-class upper division
