About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to plan, organize, and execute high-profile corporate, hospitality, and promotional events. The successful candidate will combine creativity, strong project management, and leadership skills to deliver exceptional events that boost brand visibility, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives.


Specific Responsibilities for the Role

Event Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and implement event concepts and strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Prepare detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, vendor lists, and risk assessments.

  • Identify opportunities for innovative events to promote products and services.

Event Execution and Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of conferences, product launches, retail activations, and VIP engagements.

  • Coordinate logistics: venue setup, catering, décor, entertainment, and technical requirements.

  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.

Stakeholder and Client Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, VIPs, and stakeholders.

  • Partner with internal teams, sponsors, and partners to align event objectives.

  • Guarantee seamless hospitality and guest experience.

Budgeting and Financial Oversight

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring financial discipline and accountability.

  • Track expenses and deliver events within approved budgets without compromising quality.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Collaborate with the communications team to design integrated event marketing campaigns.

  • Execute pre- and post-event promotions to maximize visibility and ROI.

Risk and Compliance Management

  • Identify potential risks and create contingency plans for smooth execution.

  • Ensure events comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Collect participant feedback and evaluate event success against KPIs.

  • Prepare post-event reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certifications in Event Management, PR, or Hospitality are an advantage.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ event management experience in corporate, hospitality, retail, or group structures.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-profile events and manage multi-vendor projects.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
