About the Role

The Lubricants Regional Sales Manager will lead all sales and marketing initiatives in the assigned region. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring business profitability through innovative sales strategies, targeted marketing campaigns, and long-term relationship management.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and strengthen customer partnerships, and execute initiatives that align with both short- and long-term business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives to grow lubricant sales across the assigned region.

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, market share, and profitability.

  • Manage key customer accounts and cultivate long-term profitable relationships.

  • Identify and penetrate new markets while expanding existing channels.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and develop go-to-market strategies.

  • Oversee sales operations, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

  • University degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline.

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ proven sales and business development experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role within lubricants, oil & gas, FMCG, or related industries.

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience in key account management and long-term customer development.

  • Expertise in market research, competitor analysis, and strategy development.

  • Demonstrated success in channel development and new market penetration.
