Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our Sales Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through market research, lead generation, strategic partnerships, client relationship management, and proposal development.

This role requires a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in sales, strong analytical abilities, and exceptional communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Analysis: Identify emerging trends in urban development and real estate markets. Analyze competitors, market gaps, and opportunities.

  • Lead Generation: Source, qualify, and develop new business leads through networking, industry events, and outreach.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with developers, investors, contractors, architects, planners, and financiers.

  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases for prospective partners and investors.

  • Project Coordination: Work with the project management team to align business development initiatives with project execution.

  • Contract Negotiation: Support negotiations for terms and agreements in new ventures and partnerships.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term client and stakeholder relationships to foster business growth and repeat opportunities.

  • Sales Support: Assist in identifying prospects, creating strategies, and supporting sales campaigns.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records using Salesforce CRM and prepare regular pipeline, forecast, and market reports.


Requirements

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    • Master’s Degree (MBA) is an advantage.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development or sales.

    • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    • Experience in real estate or property development markets is a plus.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of sales principles and CRM software.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.

    • Analytical problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
