About the Role

HI DESIGN.CO is seeking a Business Development Officer to drive growth, unlock new opportunities, and strengthen our position in the design and real estate industry. The ideal candidate is a proactive deal-closer with excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record of generating revenue.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategy and deals.

  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, leveraging CRM and analytics to improve conversion.

  • Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and sales materials for high-value clients.

  • Lead client communications, gather feedback, and foster repeat business and referrals.

  • Negotiate pricing, scope, and timelines in collaboration with the Creative Director.

  • Coordinate with Finance on invoices, receivables, and revenue reporting.

  • Collaborate with Creative and Media teams on growth strategies, campaigns, and brand positioning.

  • Develop and update business plans and long-term sales strategies.

  • Build strategic partnerships with architects, developers, and real estate firms.

  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in Business Development (Interior Design / Real Estate / Architecture sector experience is an advantage).

  • Strong networking skills and ability to build high-value client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated track record of winning new business and growing accounts.

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement business plans and sales strategies.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Solid understanding of the Lagos business environment and emerging opportunities.


Compensation & Structure

  • Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦400,000 monthly (performance-based).
