Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operational management of the hotel. You will work closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department (HODs) to drive revenue growth, maximize guest satisfaction, and ensure service excellence across all areas of the property.
Key Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you will:

Collaborate with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues, including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishments.

Support the development and achievement of hotel budgets, forecasts, and strategic goals (short and long-term).

Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team to ensure departmental and overall targets are met and exceeded.

Oversee and coordinate service delivery across operational departments to meet and surpass guest expectations.

Ensure cost controls across departments, analyzing results regularly and taking corrective action where needed.

Respond to internal and external audits to ensure continuous improvement.

Manage and develop HODs to ensure career progression, succession planning, and talent growth within Hilton.

Regularly engage with guest feedback to drive improvements and high customer satisfaction scores.

Hold regular briefings and communication sessions with department heads.
Requirements
Essential
-
Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management (or equivalent).

Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in operations, ideally with a background in Food & Beverage.

Solid experience in budgeting, revenue proposals, and forecasting results.

In-depth knowledge of the hospitality, leisure, or service industry.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams to high performance.

Resilient, accountable, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Preferred
-
Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS).

Previous experience as an Operations Manager (or similar leadership role) in the hospitality industry.
