Now, we’re looking for a Senior General Manager (SGM) to lead our ride-hailing operations in Nigeria and Ghana, two of Africa’s most dynamic mobility markets.
The Opportunity
This is not just a management role—it’s a chance to shape the mobility landscape in West Africa.
As Senior GM, you will:

Own the P&L and performance for two critical markets.

Drive sustainable growth while ensuring Bolt remains the platform of choice for riders and drivers.

Build and nurture high-level relationships with regulators, communities, and business partners.

Lead and inspire high-performing teams across Nigeria and Ghana.
You will collaborate closely with HQ teams in Growth Analytics, Expansion, Operations, Marketing, Product, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Support, while reporting directly to the Regional Director for Africa & Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic and annual business planning for Nigeria and Ghana, translating bold targets into strong execution.

Identify country-specific risks, trends, and opportunities, and design tailored strategies to drive growth and manage challenges.

Oversee day-to-day operations and financial performance, ensuring maximum ROI and operational efficiency.

Develop and execute market expansion strategies, launching new services/features to strengthen competitive advantage.

Own and deliver against ambitious P&L targets and KPIs.

Build, mentor, and lead high-performing local teams across both markets.
About You

Minimum Requirements:

7+ years of leadership experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Proven track record in P&L management and delivering strong results.

Strong background in commercial operations and business expansion.

Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage complex projects across multiple markets.
