With major storage facilities in Apapa (Lagos) and Onne (Rivers State), we distribute petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), kerosene (DPK), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Job Summary

The Team Lead, AP Lubricant Sales will drive lubricant product sales revenue by leading and mentoring a team of Sales Associates across multiple territories. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, expanding distributor relationships, and ensuring consistent market execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Associates across distributor territories.

  • Set clear sales targets and provide regular performance feedback.

  • Conduct weekly and monthly sales reviews to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for retail, wholesale, and direct sales channels.

  • Allocate resources effectively to prioritize high-potential distributor territories.

  • Ensure consistent execution of route-to-market strategies across distributors.

  • Build and strengthen partnerships with distributors to align on sales goals, stock availability, and activations.

  • Conduct joint market visits with Sales Associates and distributors to address operational challenges.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding market coverage and penetration.

  • Oversee key account management for major retail groups, workshops, and B2B customers.


Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum of 2:2) in Engineering or Industrial Chemistry (mandatory).

Experience:

  • 6–9 years’ relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Lubricant Sales role.

  • Professional certification(s) in sales/marketing or lubricants (advantage).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of AP lubricants, products, and services.

  • Good understanding of chemical composition, application, and performance benefits of lubricants.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with adaptability to dynamic environments.

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
