Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead and coordinate all workshop-related activities, ensuring the consistent availability, quality, and performance of trucks. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on expertise in commercial vehicle engineering and maintenance, with the ability to drive efficiency, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all workshop operations to ensure timely availability of trucks.

Enforce adherence to workshop procedures and systems during repairs, maintenance, and documentation.

Continuously monitor repair time (MTTR) and repair quality (RFTR) to achieve set KPIs.

Foster a customer-focused culture within the team and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Ensure the workshop facility, equipment, and tools are properly maintained and always in ready-to-use condition.

Lead, train, and mentor workshop staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.

Handle technical issues, warranty matters, and problem-solving related to auto trucks.
Requirements

HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (specialization in Commercial Vehicles).

Minimum of 8 years’ proven engineering experience in an established commercial vehicle workshop (trucks specifically).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent knowledge of auto trucks, product handling, and technical troubleshooting.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
