Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and supervision to the finance department to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

Develop, implement, and oversee the company’s financial strategy, aligning resources with overall business goals.

Advise the CEO and Executive Management with financial insights and strategy recommendations to guide corporate decision-making.

Perform risk management, analyzing liabilities, investments, and overall financial exposure.

Oversee all major financial decisions, including budgeting, auditing, capital expenditure planning, and reporting.

Ensure strict compliance with IFRS standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.

Review financial reports, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.

Maintain full control over financial records, documentation, and reporting frameworks.

Strengthen governance by reviewing, updating, and improving financial procedures and internal control systems.

Manage strategic relationships with regulators, auditors, banks, and financial stakeholders.

Support business expansion through due diligence, investment appraisal, and financial modelling.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Professional certification required: ACA, ACCA, or CFA.

7 – 10 years post-NYSC professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.

Strong expertise in financial planning, compliance, and risk management.

Prior experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a significant advantage.
