Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our retail team.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a retail environment and will be responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience by providing prompt assistance, resolving issues, and maintaining excellent service standards.
- The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism in handling customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ensure they feel welcome.
- Attend to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information on products, prices, and promotions.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (sales, cashier, store operations) to resolve issues.
- Ensure the customer service area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist in upselling or cross-selling products when necessary.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management.
- Support store operations as needed during peak hours.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in any related field.
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in a retail or supermarket customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and POS systems.
- Friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
- Must be able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Must reside within or around Lekki / Victoria Island.
