Role Purpose
- The Sales Manager will lead Pullus’ sales function, driving revenue growth and market expansion across Nigeria.
- The role develops and executes sales strategies, manages the sales team, and ensures consistent achievement of sales targets.
- This position is central to building strong customer relationships, opening new markets, and positioning Pullus as the leading poultry and agritech partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with Pullus’ growth objectives.
- Define monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new markets and high-value customer segments
- Acquire and grow B2B accounts (QSRs, retailers, hotels, institutions) and B2C channels.
- Negotiate contracts and partnerships for long-term retention.
- Represent Pullus at industry events and trade fairs.
- Recruit, train, and manage Sales Executives and Account Officers.
- Set clear KPIs, track performance, and coach staff for improved conversion rates.
- Use CRM and dashboards to track pipelines, forecasts, and client interactions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns and promotions.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain for product availability and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with QA to address product quality feedback.
- Work with Finance to align sales targets with revenue goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA an advantage).
- 7–10 years’ sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong B2B/B2C customer acquisition background, preferably FMCG/agribusiness.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
