Job Summary
- A Market Seater is responsible for introducing and establishing a brand or product in new or underdeveloped markets.
- Your focus is on penetration and creating awareness.
Responsibilities
- Identify and open new outlets that don’t yet stock the company’s products
- Carry out product sampling, promotions, and market visibility activities
- Educate retailers and consumers about the product’s quality, pricing, and selling points
- Work closely with brand promoters and distributors to ensure product placement and first orders
- Gather market intelligence on prices, competitors, and consumer reactions
- Success is measured by new outlets opened and availability spread
Requirements
- ND, B.Sc in Marketing or related courses.
- At least 1 year sales and marketing experience.
