Responsibilities
- 1st line support for staff on service requests and incidents
- Escalate unresolved issues/requests to 2nd Line in a timely manner
- Ensure continuity of banking operations via high quality customer service
- Assist with on-boarding of new users, movement, leave plan, and exit of staff
- Assist in maintaining inventory of all equipment and related stock
- Ensure compliance to operating procedures
- IT Service Management SLA meetup
- Periodic branch visitation for IT routine activities.
- Installation of software on systems and servers for branches and Head Office
- Maintenance of File Server and user rights
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
- User and profile maintenance on the Active Directory
- Installation & Update Maintenance of Anti-virus software for all users
- Windows Patch and Anti-Virus Updates for all computer hardware
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Proper inventory of all IT assets including mobile tablet.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of B.Sc./HND in Computer Science or any related field
- Cognate Experience in a business environment and at least three years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of technical hardware, Microsoft Operating System and Office Suite software (MS 2019-2022), and other productivity tools
- Proficient in troubleshooting issues relating to hardware and software
- Soft skills: results-driven (meeting service levels), effective communication, problem solving
- Basic ITIL knowledge would be of advantage
- I.T Certification will be an added advantage (Microsoft, Linux)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrates drive, enthusiasm, self-motivation and professionalism.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to details and meet deadlines.
