Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management and stakeholders.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in developing and managing company budgets and forecasting future financial performance.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.
Auditing:
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records by entering and managing all financial transactions.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and optimize cash reserves.
Payroll Processing:
- Handle payroll activities, including calculating salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Software & Systems:
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and ensure data accuracy.
Compliance:
- Ensure financial operations are in compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies.
Requirements
- Education: Typically requires an accounting degree or related field.
- Professional Qualification: Often, professional certifications (like a ACA) is an added advantage.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
