Role Overview
- We are looking for a skilled communicator to help shape how we show up across Africa’s tech ecosystem.
- In this role, you will create content that strengthens our brand, tell the stories of the founders we back, and manage the digital channels through which we engage our community.
- This role offers hands-on experience in brand building and community engagement in the venture capital landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality content across formats: social media posts, videos, articles, and newsletters
- Manage Oui Capital’s social media accounts; track and analyse performance and use insights to refine reach and engagement.
- Lead planning and production of the Oui Talk podcast, from guest research to promotion.
- Support the design and execution of in-person and online events, handling logistics, communications, partnerships, and post-event recaps.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated work experience in content creation, social media management, communications, or community-building.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Experience with podcast production or multimedia content.
- Proficiency with design and editing tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, etc.). Knowledge of the African tech ecosystem.
