Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost,delivery and service.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and request for quotation(RFQs).
- Conduct market research to identify price, trends,new suppliers and alternatives.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services based on operational needs.
- Maintain an up-to-database of reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate favourable terms,pricing and conditions with vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Resolve supplier issues, disputes delays or failures.
- Evaluate procurement processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts,purchase order and procurement activities.
- Work closely with other departments to understand procurement needs.
- Support internal stakeholders with timely procurement.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
- Hands on experience on large procurement within the engineering sector.
Salary
N300,000 – N500,000 / Month.
