Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Power Plant Electrical Engineer to operate, supervise, and manage the electrical systems and maintenance activities of gas-fired power plants. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on and leadership experience with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 generator sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise the maintenance of MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 gas engines.
- Lead and coordinate the electrical maintenance team to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
- Monitor plant performance and prepare technical and maintenance reports.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades of electrical systems.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- 5–7 years experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
- Proven experience working with MWM CG170 and CAT G3520 engines.
- Strong knowledge of power plant electrical systems, switchgear, control panels, and protection systems.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
- Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.
