About the Job
- The QC Chemist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of products throughout the manufacturing process.
- He/She is responsible for conducting physicochemical analyses on raw and packing materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify composition and adherence to local regulatory and Danone standards.
About You
- HND / BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food science and technology or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory operations preferable dairy operations.
- Conversant with FMCG industry standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
- Knowledge of FSMS (FSSC 22000) is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance protocols and Sanitation procedure
- Analytical skills and attention to details for interpreting test result
- Strong knowledge of chemical testing techniques and Food safety regulations
- Promoting strong team spirit,leading with people to achieve set goals
- Good laboratory practices and management knowledge
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory compliance
- Good leadership and communication skills
