Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the planning and execution of mobile phone user research projects in Nigeria, including formulating research plans, designing research questionnaires, organizing interviews and focus groups, etc.
  • Collect and collate data related to Nigerian mobile phone users, conduct in – depth analysis using data analysis tools, and explore user behavior patterns, pain points, and market trends.
  • Regularly produce user insight reports, providing user – insight – based suggestions and decision – making bases for product development, market promotion, and marketing strategy formulation.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, operation and other teams to translate user insights into actual product optimization and business improvement plans, and track the implementation effects.
  • Pay attention to the dynamics of the Nigerian mobile phone market and the situation of competitors, collect relevant information and conduct analysis, providing references for the company to formulate competitive strategies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or above, with a preference for majors related to market research, statistics, psychology, sociology, etc.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in market research or user insights.
  • Experience in African market research is preferred, and those familiar with the Nigerian market are especially welcome.
  • Proficient in market research methods, including questionnaire design, interviews, focus groups, etc.; proficient in data analysis tools such as SPSS, Excel, Python, etc., with strong data mining and analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds, including team members and respondents; possess good cross – cultural communication skills
  • Have a keen insight and be able to extract valuable information from complex data and phenomena to provide strong support for product and business decisions.
