Job Summary
- The Junior Architect will support the design and project teams in developing architectural drawings, design concepts, and project documentation.
- The role is ideal for a graduate architect looking to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, site coordination, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and design presentations.
- Support senior architects in developing design concepts and project plans.
- Prepare working drawings and documentation for approvals and construction.
- Assist with site visits, measurements, and project monitoring.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants as required.
- Make revisions to drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of project materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Graduate Architect (NYSC pending or completed).
- Basic knowledge of architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Good understanding of building design and construction principles.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
