About the Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Head of Engineering / Maintenance to lead all technical operations across our healthcare facility.
- The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all medical equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of all medical and non-medical equipment.
- Manage biomedical systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Supervise engineering and maintenance teams.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of power, water, HVAC, and medical gas systems.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare budgets, reports, and asset registers.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10 years’ experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of hospital equipment and facility systems.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
