Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Executive Search Professional to support our Corporate Governance platform, with a focus on Board Recruitment. To be successful in this role, you should be able to define, streamline and deliver client recruitment mandates to specification, within a disruptive technology-driven environment.
In this role, you will interface with clients professionally, build and maintain client relationships, and demonstrate a sound understanding of the local executive search environment, as well as leading practices. You will be responsible for communicating extensively with prospective and existing clients, and partners. You would combine your strength in business development and client acquisition with a strong interest in technology-driven product environment, attention to detail, and an ability to work with little to no supervision. You should be a reliable problem-solver with sound stakeholder engagement and project management skills. Your goal will be to drive visibility and sustainable financial growth for our board recruitment platform by ensuring that our services reach the target audience and that services are delivered effectively to support repeat business and overall business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities of Business Manager

  • Implement business growth strategy as it achieves market entry and product-market fit.
  • Develop and implement a customer management framework – including customer insights driven marketing – to manage existing relationships and build new ones.
  • Engage in Business Development for onboarding both individual and corporate clients.
  • Implement key enablers for a successful executive search business operation.
  • Design and execute day-to-day business operational processes for both client sides (Individuals and Corporates).
  • Address day-to-day corporate enquiries and interactions regarding board recruitment, as well as other suite of services on the platform.
  • Identify and sign-up key strategic partners to support the array of services.
  • Support and ensure effective functioning of all services on the platform. This shall include working closely with outsourced service providers to ensure effective and excellent service delivery to the desired business standards.
  • Ensure product continuous improvement using feedback from the market.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, identify market opportunities, and develop customer relevant propositions that drive key measures such as market share, revenue, profit, and brand health.
  • Develop timely and effective solutions to client needs.
  • Address customer issues and concerns in an effective and timely manner.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of products, pricing, policies, trainings etc, to effectively engage the market for lead generation, conversion and repeat business.
  • Define KPIs and targets that support overall business success.
  • Any other related responsibility shall be assigned from time-to-time.

 

Skills & Qualifications of a Business Manager

  • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Business, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Significant experience in recruitment, with particular focus on Executive Search.
  • About 5-7 years minimum work experience. working as business development or recruitment specialist in a consulting company, recruiting or outsourcing agency.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Sound interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
  • Exceptional writing with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain keen attention to detail.
  •  Natural tendency to be positive, creative, and curious.
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills, and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
