Job Purpose of a Human Resource Manager
- The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
- She/He will promote corporate values and enable success through human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Implement and manage employee development plans.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
- Deal with disciplinary actions, such as terminations, as needed.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support HR-related projects, such as organizational restructuring or culture initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Education and Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree and/or professional HR certification preferred.
- A minimum of Eleven (11) years of Human Resource Management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in an NGO environment is an advantage
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources Metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
