Job Summary
- We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to input, update, and maintain data in our systems.
- The ideal candidate will have fast typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal errors.
- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure data accuracy and efficient handling of data input tasks.
Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data in databases, spreadsheets, or software systems.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data by cross-checking against original documents.
- Process and input data related to invoices, sales records, customer information, or other organizational data.
- Organize, classify, and label electronic documents and items.
- Scan and digitize documents as necessary.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure proper document storage.
- Review data for deficiencies, errors, or discrepancies.
- Correct data errors or report them to supervisors for resolution.
- Conduct regular audits to verify data integrity.
- Generate reports based on entered data, including summaries and detailed views for supervisors or management.
- Assist with data analysis by providing accurate data as required for decision-making.
- Ensure timely completion of data entry tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to data confidentiality and organizational policies regarding data security.
- Follow company procedures to maintain a high level of data protection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field; additional certifications in data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (Speed and accuracy may be tested during the hiring process).
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) is a plus.
- 0-2 years’ professional work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
