Job Title: Accounting, Tax, Audit & Treasury Lead

Role Overview
- We are seeking a proactive, strategic finance and accounting rockstar who goes beyond traditional accounting.
- This role will ensure financial compliance, drive efficient cash flow management, and deliver insights that support our growth trajectory.
- You will be instrumental in translating financial data into actionable strategies that drive business objectives and foster financial health.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee financial accounting processes, including general ledger, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.
- Prepare and present GAAP-compliant financial statements accurately and on schedule.
Tax Compliance and Strategy:
- Manage local and international tax compliance, aligning strategies with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tax optimization strategies that align with growth objectives.
Treasury Management:
- Oversee cash flow and banking relationships, ensuring liquidity management and optimized financing.
- Develop investment strategies that maximize short-term returns and ensure financial security.
Audit Preparation:
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure comprehensive audit readiness.
- Implement audit-efficient processes to streamline future audit cycles.
Strategic Financial Advisory:
- Deliver financial insights and forecasts that support strategic decision-making.
- Work with senior management to align financial strategies with broader business plans.
System Management:
- Utilize Zoho Books for comprehensive financial management; explore additional tools to enhance financial efficiency.
- Recommend and implement best-in-class financial systems that support scalability.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) with 4+ years in a similar role, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements; familiarity with international tax compliance is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in treasury and cash flow management.
- Analytical acumen for interpreting complex data into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication skills for engaging cross-functional stakeholders.

- Salary: N500,000 – N700,000 per month.
