Giftcard8 is a rapidly growing tech company specializing in digital gift card services, currently expanding our reach in the African market. We are looking for skilled Mobile App Developers with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join our remote team, focusing on building and optimizing our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications
- Identify and resolve app issues and bottlenecks, continuously improving development efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest development tools, frameworks, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile app development for iOS or Android
- Proficient in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) or Java/Kotlin (Android)
- Experience with RESTful APIs for backend integration
- Strong understanding of mobile frameworks, design principles, and UI/UX standards
- Experience working with databases, APIs, and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with the developer registration and app deployment processes, including specific requirements for converting a personal developer account to a company account
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
