Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager with a strong science background to lead our sales efforts in the construction chemical industry.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand customer base, and increase market share.
- Provide technical expertise to support sales initiatives, including product demonstrations, trials, and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Identify new business opportunities, develop sales proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Lead and manage a team of sales engineers and technical sales specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or science related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or a related field, experience in construction chemical is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, plant operations, and construction methods is an added advantage
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and developing effective sales strategies.
- Experience leading and managing teams, including sales engineers and technical sales specialists.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Salary
N350,000 – N500,000 / month.
