Job Title: Plant Electrical Engineer

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Design, develop, and implement LV/HV electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, faults, and emergencies.
Conduct electrical safety audits and risk assessments.
Knowledgeable in electronics design and management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and mechanical engineers on site, ensuring synergy of operations and enhancing productivity.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Develop and implement electrical maintenance programs, including predictive and preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical motors, exciters, voltage and current controls
Knowledge of electricity frequency management including synchronization
Knowledge of Autocad electrical designs
Provide technical and backup support to another engineer assigned to him, ensuring continuity in the absence of the primary engineer
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and innovations in electrical engineering.

HND/B.Eng. Electrical Engineering.
3+ years’ experience in plant/ similar operations
Proficiency in DOL, StarDelta connection.
Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and systems.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a focus on team work, safety and efficiency.
Analytical mindset and solution oriented.
Computer literacy with excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Time management, multitasking and collaborative skills.
High operational standards and quality control.
Self-driven and having a penchant for excellent results.
Having integrity and diligence.
