Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) – At its coming into being in 1891, Nigeria Customs Service was saddled with the responsibilities of revenue collection, accounting for same and anti-smuggling activities. Today trade facilitation has become a fundamental role, progressively seen by government as an important element of economic policy, with Customs having a unique position within the hub of the international supply chain of goods and services.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Must not have any criminal record or be under investigation.

 

Academic Requirements

Customs Assistant Cadre:

  • O’Level (WAEC or NECO)

Medical Requirements:

  • Must be physically and mentally fit.
  • Evidence of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.

General Conditions

  • Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.
  • Applicants must have completed their primary x education and obtained a First School Leaving Certificate.
  • Applicants must not be less than 1.7 meters till for males and 1.64 meters for females.
  • Medical fitness is required, and applicants most not be physically or mentally challenged.
  • Applicants must not have been convicted of y criminal offense.
  • Applicants must not be members of any secret society. cult, or drug addicts.
  • Applicants must present a certificate of state/ LGA of origin.
