Job Title: Regional Accountant
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card statements.
- Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns, including sales tax and payroll tax returns.
- Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets, including budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields with 5 – 10 years of experience.
- Relevant professional certification specifically Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
