Description:
- We are seeking a Technology Sales Officer with fintech experience to join our dynamic team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients in the fintech space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech industry.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Pitch and demonstrate fintech products and services to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage sales pipelines effectively.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, payment processors, and enterprise clients.
- Understand clients’ financial technology needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
- Provide insights and feedback to the product development team for product improvements.
- Stay updated on regulatory and compliance requirements in the fintech industry.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Represent the company at fintech industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a technology-driven environment.
Technical & Sales Skills:
- Strong understanding of fintech products, including payment gateways, digital wallets, banking APIs, and financial SaaS solutions.
- Experience in solution-based selling and ability to communicate complex fintech solutions in a simple and persuasive manner.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines.
