Overview:
  • ​Leverages deep expertise in ESG reporting, including design, monitoring, measurement, and internal controls and conducts sustainability assurance in accordance with EYs methodology to build trust.
  • Ensures that a company’s sustainability report is aligned to regulatory frameworks, standards, emerging trends and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conducts materiality assessments to identify key sustainability risks and opportunities and associated performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collects and collates non-financial data to support management reporting. Prepares stakeholder communication (including board level) to give assurance on organizational sustainability.
  • Conducts or manages end to end sustainability audit and assurance processes in line with EY’s Sustainability Audit Methodology.
  • Supports organisations in ESG and sustainability performance reporting disclosures on non-financial value creation and sustainability risk and opportunity, to accelerate action and transparency.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for contributing to the delivery of processes, solutions and/or projects, by delivering agreed activities, researching and presenting relevant information to inform recommendations.
  • Accountable for delivering own work and meeting required targets which impact the immediate team.
  • Meets performance objectives and metrics set locally (client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development and teaming etc.)

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Sciences and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical writing skills and advanced knowledge of risk management
  • Experience in sustainability with environmental footprint, life cycle analysis, sustainable supply chain planning and / or carbon market is an advantage
  • The confidence to investigate and resolve emerging customer issues, including regulations, new technology practices.
  • The Flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in an accelerated environment.
