Job Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Compliance Officer with proven expertise in coordinating logistics operations, managing inventory, verifying delivery agents, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and critical thinking skills, be proficient with logistics software, and excel at identifying and solving operational challenges swiftly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Operations Management:

  • Coordinate and manage riders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Plan optimal delivery routes for efficient distribution and quick order fulfillment.
  • Track and manage inventory accurately, including clustering orders based on location and assigning deliveries appropriately.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively provide solutions to mitigate delays or issues in the delivery process.

Verification & Compliance:

  • Conduct thorough background checks and verify onboarding documentation for new delivery agents.
  • Manage and facilitate asset recovery and debt collection processes.
  • Monitor compliance of delivery agents with internal guidelines and regulatory standards.

Compliance & Asset Management:

  • Continuously track performance metrics of riders, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee accurate tracking, inventory movement, and recovery of company assets.
  • Use CRM tools and inventory management software (Zoho Inventory, Zoho One) to track performance and compliance.

Training & Development:

  • Train riders and team members on customer service best practices, road safety protocols, compliance standards, and technology usage.
  • Develop, update, and deliver training materials and modules to enhance team efficiency and knowledge.
  • Evaluate team performance through structured assessments, and continuously improve training processes.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, or similar operational roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle logistics operations and compliance responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Inventory, Zoho One, or similar CRM/inventory management tools.
  • Previous experience with logistics and CRM software strongly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., Swift/Nova).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (NAPPS) and proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Zoho Inventory/Zoho One.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, resolve problems creatively, and adapt quickly to operational changes.

Salary
N150,000 monthly.
