Job Description:
- ABC Logistics is a leading logistics firm seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory/Store Officer to join our dynamic team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Inventory, receiving & storing of goods, issuing & distribution of goods, record keeping & documentation, and stock count exercise.
- This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to details.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate stock levels by monitoring inventory and conducting regular stock checks.
- Ordering stock or materials when levels are low to ensure the smooth operation of business activities.
- Ensuring that stock is used in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) order to prevent expired or obsolete goods.
- Ensuring that materials and goods are issued to departments or customers on time.
- Coordinating the movement of goods within the organization to meet operational needs.
- Providing regular reports on inventory levels, stock usage, and potential issues (e.g., stock-outs, overstocking) to management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year working experience in logistics industry.
- HND/BSC in any relevant discipline
- Must have completed the NYSC Program.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
