Job Title: Full-time Pharmacist
Locations: Gbagada, Ikeja, and Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering expert pharmaceutical advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
- The role requires a licensed and dedicated professional who is committed to providing safe, ethical, and customer-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Provide counseling to patients on drug usage, side effects, interactions, and storage.
- Work with the superintendent pharmacist to ensure smooth operations and compliance with PCN guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records, including prescription logs and drug registers.
- Assist with inventory management—stocking, reordering, and checking for expired medications.
- Ensure all pharmacy practices are in line with current pharmaceutical laws and standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to deliver high-quality service.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide relevant health information.
- Participate in health awareness initiatives or pharmacy promotional activities as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dispensary area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution with 3 years work experience.
- Must be a registered and licensed Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Completed NYSC program.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team and under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work weekends or in shifts, as required.
Salary:
N200,000-N300,000 monthly.
