Job Summary
- The HR/Business Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization, including financial management, organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Manage the company’s finances, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Work closely with the Business Development teamto oversee revenue generation, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Monitor expenses, analyze financial data, and provide regular reports to the MD/CEO.
Organizational Development:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the company.
- Implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Identify staffing needs in different departments
- Develop Job descriptions and post job vacancies
- Conduct interviews and select qualified candidates
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with department heads and management to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Serve as intermediary between the CEO and department heads.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance appraisal systems and set performance goals
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees for continuous improvement
- Proactively identify talent gaps and make plans to overcome them.
Compensation And Benefits:
- Manage payroll, including processing wages and addressing payroll inquiries
- Administer employee benefits, such as healthcare
- Oversee pay distributions to employees.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee satisfaction and retention
- Address employee concerns and grievances effectively
- Promote open communication channels within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field with 4-5 years of work experience.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective plans and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Salary
N300,000-N350,000 monthly.
