Job Description

  • Moment for Women Alliance is seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to work directly with our producer on The Moment for Women Talkshow and create engaging digital content for our advocacy, programs, and campaigns.
  • The ideal candidate must be passionate about visual storytelling and experienced in both camera operation and video post-production.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the producer to film studio and field content for The Moment for Women Talkshow.
  • Shoot high-quality videos for events, interviews, and advocacy campaigns.
  • Edit video content with transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
  • Produce short videos for social media, YouTube, and broadcast.
  • Ensure consistent branding and storytelling across all video outputs.
  • Maintain video equipment and manage footage storage.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cinematography and video editing (portfolio or demo reel required).
  • Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Strong camera handling, lighting, and audio recording skills.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects or Canva Pro is an advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the media and programs team.
  • Creative, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.

Skills:

  • Experience with video editing & live-streaming setups.
  • Skills in photography, animation, and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with feminist or human rights storytelling.
  • Cinematography lighting setup up
  • Color grading and audio treatment.
