Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and the timely filing of tax returns.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Financial Policies: Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2 – 5 years work experience.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA) is preferred; Candidates without these are encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience as a financial accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
