Job Description:
- The Accountant and Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of Cirvee Academy. This full-time, on-site role involves:
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements to ensure accurate reporting.
- Managing budgets, cash flows, and forecasting to aid decision-making.
- Conducting financial analysis and providing actionable insights for business strategy.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Handling payroll, expense tracking, and tax filings.
- Collaborating with HR and management to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Utilizing accounting and financial software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting and finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA or CFA certification (or progress toward these certifications) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HR analytics and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in creating financial dashboards and reports for non-financial stakeholders.
