- We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our finance team.
- This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit financial management and is ideal for recent graduates looking to build a career in accounting or financial administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping and preparation of financial documents.
- Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and data entry.
- Help reconcile accounts and support monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records in both physical and digital formats.
- Assist in budget preparation and tracking expenditure reports.
- Collaborate with the Accountant and administrative team on day-to-day finance operations.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recently completed a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed NYSC programme
- Membership of a professional body (ICAN, ANAN) is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and willingness to learn.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
