Job Summary
- The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in daily financial reporting and transactions in compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and post daily financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Assist with tax computations and statutory remittances.
- Liaise with auditors and external financial partners when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or a corporate environment.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and record keeping.
