Are you a passionate voice coach with an ear for accents and an interest in the future of AI? Join our customer’s innovative team as an Acting Teacher – Voice AI Trainer. In this role, you will fuse your expertise in expressive vocal modulation and audio direction with advanced AI technology, guiding the next generation of voice-driven tutoring tools. Work remotely with a dynamic group on a cutting-edge audio description mini-pilot project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with AI developers to advance voice recognition and synthesis capabilities.
• Provide expert guidance on a wide variety of accents and regional dialects for AI voice training purposes.
• Lead intensive voice coaching sessions, focusing on dialect accuracy and expressive speech.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated audio outputs for clarity, authenticity, and consistency.
• Develop comprehensive training materials and exercises for AI voice modulation and inflection.
• Assist in the iterative testing and optimization of the AI’s accent and dialect performance.
• Document training progress, findings, and recommendations for the wider development team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a professional acting teacher, voice coach or voice acting instructor.
• Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of accents and regional dialects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – clarity, care, and precision are essential.
• Strong capability to work both independently and within a collaborative remote environment.
• Experience in voice directing for diverse performance-based projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in AI, speech technology, or technology-driven voice projects.
• Awareness of trends and best practices in voice synthesis, speech technology, and AI learning.
• Experience developing detailed, structured voice training modules or curriculum.
