We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Activities and Athletics Assistant
Location: Lagos
Department: Production
Key Responsibilities
After-School Activities (ASA):
- Organize daily ASA logistics, including rosters, signage set up, and activity leader communication.
- Manage ASA registration, payroll, and financial records.
- Oversee purchases for equipment, clothing, and awards.
WAISAL Activities & Competitive Sports:
- Coordinate travel arrangements for teams, including visas, flights, and accommodations.
- Assist with hosting WAISAL events, ensuring smooth logistics and communication.
- Manage distribution, collection, and records of team uniforms.
Community & Saturday Sports:
- Schedule and coordinate facility use with community sports organizers.
- Provide security with weekly attendee lists for access control.
- Communicate schedule updates and disruptions.
- Organize and manage Saturday Sports, including registration and coach coordination.
Event & Facility Management:
- Support event planning and ensure all logistical needs are met.
- Manage IT administrative systems and facility bookings.
- Oversee scheduling for ASAs and external events.
- Follow up with staff on bookings and facility usage.
Administrative & Supervisory Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Activities & Athletics Director.
- Monitor student attendance and ensure supervision during ASAs.
- Assist with clerical tasks for trips, excursions, and event planning.
- Support teachers and activity leaders with materials and setup.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently with a big-picture mindset.
- Experience working with students, coaches, and external organizations.
- Proficiency in Veracross, Google Suite, and other relevant administrative platforms.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with staff, parents, and community members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
