Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and well-organized professional to join our Risk Department as an Inverter Channel Risk Personnel. The Area Collection Executive will lead repayment collection efforts for our inverter products, ensuring healthy portfolio performance while supporting customer satisfaction and compliance.
This role is highly field-focused and requires strong problem-solving, communication, and credit recovery skills.
Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Collection Strategy

Monitor repayment trends and design daily, weekly, and monthly strategies to improve collections.

Provide actionable insights to mitigate repayment risks and customer defaults.

Field Monitoring & Reporting

Conduct mystery market visits to verify sales quality and customer experiences.

Provide weekly updates to Sales and Risk teams on interventions, outcomes, and customer insights.

Collection Operations

Design and operationalize effective collection processes.

Collaborate with Area Business Managers and Field Sales Executives (FSEs) to repossess products from delinquent customers when necessary.

Recruit and manage cash collection centers in high-priority repayment areas.

Fraud & Tampering Control

Report and escalate cases of product tampering, fraudulent sales, or misrepresentation by agents/customers.

Ensure corrective measures are executed per Risk team guidelines.

Agent Training & Support
-
Train Field Sales Executives on handling difficult collections and repossessions.

Drive daily follow-up rhythm with Agents to ensure timely execution of collection and repossession tasks.

Requirements
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Finance, Community Development, Communication, Credit Risk Management, or a related field.

Experience: At least 1 year in credit collections, debt recovery, or field risk management, preferably in microfinance, fintech, or banking.

Proven experience working with rural communities and customers.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to resolve customer issues in the field while balancing repayment obligations and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of Lagos and surrounding territories will be an added advantage.

Excellent issue tracking, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
