About the Role
- We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Customer Manager (ACM) to lead a high-performing team of Account Managers (AMs) across key territories in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate will have a solid background in field sales or channel management, with hands-on experience in team leadership and customer retention.
- This role is critical in ensuring we maintain and grow our B2B customer base through consistent field engagement, coaching, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of 5+ Account Managers.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance of AMs to ensure 80%+ customer retention across assigned territories.
- Review field performance dashboards, identify trends, and deploy interventions to boost customer engagement and retention.
- Provide hands-on coaching, support, and leadership to ensure each AM meets performance expectations.
- Act as a bridge between the field team and senior management, providing real-time feedback and insights.
- Track and report retained active and KYCed customers as a core KPI.

Key Metric
- Customer Retention: Number of retained active + KYCed customers managed by Account Managers under your supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant field.
- 2 – 3 years of proven experience in field sales, territory/channel management, or similar roles.
- Past experience leading a field team of at least 5+ members.
- Experience working in FMCG, consumer tech, or retail-tech industries is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in performance-driven environments with clearly defined KPIs.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and performance tracking tools is an added advantage.
